Ustad Zakir Hussain with Pt. Rakesh Chaurasia, Edgar Myer and Bela Fleck

Zakir Hussain is today appreciated both in the field of percussion and in the music world at large as an international phenomenon and one of the greatest musicians of our time. A classical tabla virtuoso of the highest order, his consistently brilliant and exciting performances have established him as a national treasure in his own country, India, and as one of India's reigning cultural ambassadors. Along with his legendary father and teacher, Ustad Allarakha, he has elevated the status of his instrument both in India and around the world. His playing is marked by uncanny intuition and masterful improvisational dexterity, founded in formidable knowledge and study.
Bela Fleck is a 15-time Grammy Award winning banjo player who has been nominated in more categories than any other artist in Grammy history, and remains a powerfully creative force globally in bluegrass, jazz, classical pop, rock and world beat. His career spans an impressive 30 plus year with successful bands such as New Grass Revival and Béla Fleck and the Flecktones.
Edgar Meyer is an American bassist and composer. His styles include classical, bluegrass, newgrass, and jazz. He has won five Grammy Awards and been nominated seven times. Meyer is a member of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival's "house band" super group, along with Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, and Bryan Sutton. His collaborators have spanned a wide range of musical styles and talents; among them are Joshua Bell, Hilary Hahn, Yo-Yo Ma, Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain, Sam Bush, Stuart Duncan, Chris Thile, Mike Marshall, Mark O'Connor, Christian McBride, and Emanuel Ax.
Vocal Concert - Smt. Rachna Bodas

Rachna Bodas is an accomplished Indian classical vocalist endowed with a rich, pure, and vibrant voice. Her dedication and devotion can be seen in her performances, which have earned her wide acclaim and appreciation from the music fraternity and her listeners. Her style of singing and approach towards a raag is very much influenced by her Guru Late Vidushi Smt. Veena Sahasrabuddhe of Gwalior Gharana. She has completed Sangeet Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyala Mandal.

Mallika Sarabhai's Colours of the Heart

Mallika Sarabhai is one of India's leading choreographers and dancers, in constant demand as a soloist and with her own dance company, Darpana, creating and performing both classical and contemporary works. She has a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and has been the co-director of the prestigious arts institution, Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, for nearly 30 years.
Vocal Concert - Smt. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande

Amongst the vocalists of today's generation of the Jaipur-Atrauli tradition of Khyal singing, Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande is an artist of great caliber. She has been performing at several prestigious music conferences in India for over fifteen years and has had successful concert tours of Europe as well as of the North American continent.

Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar, the maestro from the Mewati Gharana, is an artist of international acclaim in the field of Hindustani Classical and Devotional Music. An extremely popular artist, he is the inspiration for the young generation. With his magical singing, he has attracted the young generation towards the Indian Classical music. In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has assumed the mantle of a role model of dedication, hard work, patience and perseverance.
Vocal Concert -Kaushiki Chakraborty

Kaushiki Chakraborty, daughter of two well-known musicians: Chandana Chakraborty and the renowned Indian classical singer Ajoy Chakraborty started her musical journey at age of seven. She started learning Indian classical music at the of Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh, later joining ITC Sangeet Research Academy. Although her repertoire is predominantly of Patiala Gharana, she has also studied the Carnatic music of South India and from time to time has incorporated aspects of contemporary Indian pop music, thus considerably widening her audience. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi described Kaushiki Chakraborty as one of the few classical vocalists who will leave their mark in the 21st century.

Divine Moments by Pt.Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Pt.Subhen Chatterjee

Creator of the MOHAN VEENA and the winner of the GRAMMY AWARD, Vishwa Mohan has mesmerized the world with his pristine pure, delicate yet fiery music. It is due to Vishwa's maiden mega effort that he rechristened guitar as MOHAN VEENA, his genius creation, and has established it at the topmost level in the mainstream of Indian Classical Music scenario, thereby proving the essence of his name VISHWA (meaning the world) and MOHAN (meaning charmer) and indeed, a world charmer he is.
Subhen Chatterjee is an Indian percussionist and tabla player. He began his training on the tabla in his childhood, studying with Swapan Choudhry. In 1985 he created the fusion band Karma. He has accompanied the vocalist Girija Devi on several recordings including Songs of Varanasi for Nimbus Records. He has also recorded with V.M. Bhatt and Matt Malley on the album Sleepless Nights for World Village Records. His album Artistry recorded live in Kansas City with Manilal Nag on sitar, Ramesh Mishra on sarangi and Chatterjee on tabla was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2002.
Dance Recital by Chitra Chandrasekhar Dasarathy

Trained in Bharatanatyam from a very early age by her parents, Prof. CV Chandrasekhar and Smt. A. Jaya Chandrasekhar, Chitra holds Master's degrees in Performing Arts (Dance) and Sanskrit from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Chitra has traveled long in her pursuit of expression and excellence. Her dance gives expression to her aesthetic sensibility as an artist of our times and her complete identification with the dance form. Consequent to her worldview of dance, Chitraa's choreography too has a wide canvas. Resonances and influences from varied modes of expression inform her choreographic work within and beyond the traditional repertoire of Bharatanatyam.

Vocal Concert by Preeti Tamhankar

Preeti Tamhankar has been learning hindustani classical vocal from her childhood. Initially from her parents Archana and Manoj Tamhankar. Since last 6 years, she is being trained by her guru Pandit Vijay Koparkar. Preeti was also fortunate at very young age, to have had the opportunity to learn from Pandita Dr.Veena Sahasrabuddhe. Preeti has participated in many music competitions and has won numerous awards, both in light and classical vocal genres. She has recorded in two Marathi albums ('Jay Heramb' and 'Gaan veerkavyaache') and also in a hindi educational album (Meera-Masi). Since last few years, Preeti has been performing in numerous programs of hindustani classical solo performances as well as of light music. Preeti performed a solo vocal concert at Pune for Sanskaar Bharati Pune Mahanagar in Jan 2015, and the concert was very well received earning her a title 'Baal veeNaa' in a review by Pandit Hemant Pendse, a well known vocalist and musician from Pune. Preeti was a winner of the hindustani classical vocal competition conducted by Madhukauns organization in Pune in Jan 2015.

His playing is marked by uncanny intuition and masterful improvisational dexterity, founded in formidable knowledge and study. The favorite accompanist for many of India's greatest classical musicians and dancers, he has not let his genius rest there. Widely considered a chief architect of the contemporary world music movement.
Niladri Kumar, global icon to reckon with world-renowned & 5th generation sitar player, is an unconventional rare instrumentalist, honing a unique repertoire and profound in depth understanding of traditional and classical styles on the sitar to innovative, electrifying renditions on his own instrumental innovation the 'zitar'. Carving his niche, he emerged as a one of a kind musician and successfully managed to further transform the face of an indian instrument The Sitar - by making it more widespread, accessible and intriguing.

Melodious Percussion Trio by Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, Pt. Ramdas Palsule and Pt.Milind Tulankar (Jaltarang)

Being the son and disciple of the legendary tabla maestro Ustad Allarakha; Taufiq's performances showcase the traditional flavour and intricacies of Indian rhythm, interwoven with his phenomenal command and sparkle of contemporary world percussions
Pandit Ramdas Palsule is a very familiar name to the worshippers of Hindustani music as an intellectual Tabla Player who has carved a niche for himself at a very young age and has been recognized as one of the finest and sought after artist today. He is one of the senior disciples of famous tabla maestro Taalyogi Padmashree Pandit Suresh Talwalkar.
Milind Tulankar is one of the topmost Jaltarang artist of India, was born and brought up in a family with musical background. Milindji started learning music from a very tender age.His grandfather Late Pandit Shankar V Kanhere (Satara) who was a famous Jaltarang player influenced Milind in taking up this unusual dying instrument the Jaltarang.
